There is a star twinkling in the night sky, and I can’t stop wondering who I am and what connections that star has with me. As I ponder the fact that human beings are made up of atoms and that electrons are quantum, I realize that every existence is interconnected and constantly influences one another. The universe beyond the Earth with the countless twinkling stars and unknown planets influence our existence. Such realization resonates with the times when human beings ought to face and explore themselves to the quest of who they are. Based on the physical phenomenon of quantum entanglement, I expressed a journey of seeking where achromatic light finds its identity in blue light. The numerous aspects of myself that I encountered in this process are also reflections of 'you,' who are interconnected and interacting with me. Within an endless chain of connections with no discernible beginning or end, we create you and me, constantly illuminating each other and searching for our identities.

밤 하늘의 별 하나가 깜박인다. 나는 누구이고 저 별은 나와 무슨 상관이 있을까. 원자로 이루어진 인간에게 전자가 양자라는 사실은 존재하는 모든 것은 서로 끊임없이 영향을 주고받으며 연결되어 있다는 것을 가르쳐 준다. 나라는 생명이 존재하기 위해 지구를 넘어 반짝이는 별들과 이름 모를 수많은 행성들까지도 관여하고 있는 것이다. 그것은 나는 누구인가라는 질문에 대해 인간이 자기 자신을 마주하고 탐구해야 하는 시간들과 공명한다. 나는 물리적 현상인 양자 얽힘을 바탕으로 무채색의 빛이 파란빛으로 정체성을 찾아가는 여정을 표현했다. 그 과정 속에서 마주하게 되는 수많은 나의 모습들은 어디선가 ‘나’와 연결되어 영향을 주고 있는 ‘너’의 모습이기도 하다. 우리는 시작과 끝을 알 수 없는 연결고리 안에서 나와 너를 만들고 끊임없이 서로를 비추며 정체성을 찾아간다.
